The tutors of the GUSTAV MAHLER JUGENDORCHESTER are renowned orchestral musicians, for example from the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic, who have decided because of their conviction for the idea of the GUSTAV MAHLER JUGENDORCHESTER to work with our young talents and pass on their knowledge to them.
Together with the assistant conductor David Afkham, they are responsible for the selection of orchestral musicians at the auditions and for working through the programmes for each tour with the individual sections.
